RJD VP Devendra Yadav claimed trading happened in distribution of tickets.

Patna: RJD national vice president Devendra Yadav alleged that trading happened in the ticket distribution in the party.

“I am surprised with the ticket distribution in the party. During the RJD’s parliamentary board meeting, I suggested to the party’s senior most leaders to avoid the selling of tickets but they have not given an answer to me. Lalu Prasad Yadav hates RSS but gave tickets to the leaders who came from BJP. Shockingly, he had not given the leaders who were staying in the party for years,” Yadav said.

Devendra Yadav said that he has also written a letter to Lalu Prasad Yadav on April 3 but he has not replied to him till now.

“During the meeting of the party’s parliamentary board recently, the leaders have made a policy to give the tickets only to those candidates who have capacity to win the election. However, it was not followed in the ticket distribution,” he said.

He also supported Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav on Friday. Devendra Yadav further said that he will support Hina Shahab in Siwan.

“I came here in Purnea to support Pappu Yadav and I will go to Siwan to support Hina Shahab as well,” he said.

Devendra Yadav also said that RJD candidate Bima Bharti is not a well known face in Purnea.
