Lalan Singh filed the nomination in Munger.

Patna April 20: Former JD-U national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh filed the nomination for the Lok Sabha election in Munger on Saturday.
The nomination for the Munger seat started on April 18 and voting will take place on May 13.
During the occasion, two deputy chief ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha reached Munger through helicopter and participated in the nomination of Lalan Singh. After the nomination, they participated in a march as well.
“The people have great faith over the guarantee of Modi. We are winning the four seats of the first phase of election and overall 40 seats of Bihar,” Samrat Choudhary said.
Lalan Singh is a sitting MP from Munger. He is contesting against RJD candidate Anita Devi, wife of strongman Ashok Mahto.
Munger is a place where upper caste people like Bhumihar and Rajput have higher numbers. However, the number of backward castes people also have significant numbers and Muslim voters are holding the key here. Lalu Prasad Yadav tactically gave the ticket to the wife of Ashok Mahto to get the votes of backward castes people. RJD has core voters of Muslim and Yadav in Bihar and they will support RJD.
