Successful trial run completed till Malahi Pakdi metro station:
Earlier, on February 26, 2026, the Patna Metro achieved a significant milestone with the successful completion of a trial run between Bhoothnath Metro Station to Malahi Pakdi Metro Station.
The trial was conducted on the elevated corridor of the metro’s Patna Blue Line.
During the test, trains were run multiple times to evaluate operational aspects such as speed, braking systems, signaling mechanisms, overhead equipment, and overall system readiness.
Engineers and technical experts are closely monitoring the operations and carrying out comprehensive safety checks to ensure that the infrastructure meets required standards for passenger service.
Officials say the successful trial run brings the project a step closer to the launch of commercial services on this stretch to Malahi Pakdi.

The Patna Metro is already operational from the ISBT bus stand to the Bhootnath Road Metro Station in Patna. The stretch was inaugurated before the Bihar Assembly election 2025.
