Patna, January 30, 2026: Rastriya Lok Morcha (RLM) National President Upendra Kushwaha on Friday announced the appointment of Dinara MLA Alok Kumar Singh as the new State President of the party in Bihar.
The announcement was made during a press conference held in Patna.
Describing Alok Kumar Singh as an experienced and active leader, Kushwaha said that he has a strong command over organizational work and expressed confidence that under his leadership, the party’s organizational strength in Bihar would be further consolidated.
To maintain organizational balance, the party has appointed Prashant Pankaj and Subhash Chandravanshi as State Working Presidents. In addition, Himanshu Patel has been appointed as the State Principal General Secretary.
At the national level, Madan Chaudhary has been appointed as the National Vice President (Organizational).
Kushwaha said that Chaudhary’s experience in organizational building would significantly benefit the party’s national structure.
Upendra Kushwaha focused on accountability and expansion:
Upendra Kushwaha emphasized that the party organization would now function on the basis of accountability.
He stated that all office bearers have been tasked with expanding the party’s base in their respective regions, increasing membership, and actively raising public issues.

He made it clear that organizational inactivity will not be tolerated at any level.
Upendra Kushwaha said that following the Assembly elections, the party organization had been dissolved, but after extensive consultations, it has now been restructured with new responsibilities assigned to key positions, including the state president.
Membership drives to strengthen grassroots presence:
Upendra Kushwaha further announced that a special membership drive would be launched soon to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
The campaign will focus on connecting youth, women, and socially backward sections with the party.
Party leaders and workers have been directed to take responsibility for organizational expansion in their respective areas.
Expectations from upcoming budgets:
Speaking on the upcoming budgets, Upendra Kushwaha noted that the Union Budget will be presented on February 1, followed by the Bihar State Budget on February 3.
He stated that the people of Bihar have high expectations from the Union Budget.
Highlighting Bihar’s development potential, Kushwaha said the state requires support across all sectors, including roads, education, health, employment, agriculture, and industrial development.
He expressed hope that the central government would understand Bihar’s needs and provide substantial assistance.
Reiterating the party’s objectives, Upendra Kushwaha said that Rastriya Lok Morcha’s primary focus is to strengthen its organization and vigorously raise issues related to Bihar’s development.
He asserted that in the coming days, the party would reach every village and effectively raise the problems of the common people on political platforms.
Appealing to party workers, Kushwaha said the reorganization should be seen as a new opportunity and urged them to work with renewed energy to strengthen the party.
