Patna, December 15, 2025: After being appointed National Working President of the BJP, Bihar cabinet minister Nitin Nabin departed for New Delhi on Monday.

The BJP took a major organizational decision by entrusting Nabin with this crucial responsibility.

Following his appointment, he left Patna for Delhi, where he is scheduled to visit the BJP’s central office and hold meetings with senior party leaders.

Speaking to the media at Patna airport before departure, Nabin emphasized the importance of patience and dedication in party work.

“Every party worker should work patiently and remain committed to the core principles of the organization. If everyone works with dedication, everyone benefits. The BJP is the only party where a worker can rise to the highest position,” he said.

Dilip Jaiswal accompanied Nitin Nabin during the journey:

Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal also accompanied Nabin.

Prior to departure, Jaiswal said that the formal process related to Nabin’s appointment would take place in the national capital.

Calling Nitin Nabin a young and energetic face of the party, Jaiswal highlighted a symbolic coincidence.

“The BJP is completing 45 years, and our national working president is also 45 years old. This is a moment of great pride for Bihar,” he said.

Preparations are underway in Delhi for a grand welcome of Nabin following his elevation to the post of national working president.

Nitin Nabin is the first leader of the eastern region to achieve the highest post in the BJP:

During his stay in the capital, he is expected to meet several top BJP leaders.

There is also strong speculation that Nitin Nabin may meet Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit.

Notably, Nabin has become the first leader not only from Bihar but from the entire eastern India to be appointed as the National Working President of the BJP, a development being seen as highly significant from an organizational and political standpoint.
