Patna, November 15, 2025: After the NDA’s sweeping victory in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, intense political activity has begun in Patna, with top alliance leaders engaged in discussions on the formation of the new government.
Power-sharing talks between the NDA constituent partners, including the BJP, JDU, LJPRV, Ham, and RLM, are already underway, focusing on cabinet composition, portfolio distribution, and the swearing-in ceremony.
Key leaders of the NDA visited the Chief Minister’s residence in Patna:
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Union Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan visited Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday as part of the ongoing consultations.

Senior JDU leader Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Shyam Rajak, JDU working president Sanjay Jha and Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, also reached the 1 Anne Marg to meet the Chief Minister.
The back-to-back meetings indicate that the blueprint of the next government is close to finalization.
Chirag Paswan congratulated the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar:
Following the victory, Chirag Paswan met Nitish Kumar and congratulated him, calling the massive mandate a result of Nitish Kumar’s strong leadership.
Paswan said, “The people of Bihar gave unprecedented trust to the NDA. Nitish Kumar kept the alliance united, and the result reflects that unity. The way he voted on polling day made it clear that he firmly stood with the NDA.”
He also noted that LJPRV’s support for the JDU in the Alali seat contributed positively to the alliance’s performance.

Dismissing the opposition’s claims of internal discord, he said such rumours were politically motivated and that the alliance’s unity was stronger than ever.
With the coordination among partners appearing smooth and unanimous, the new government is likely to take shape rapidly in the coming days.
