Patna, November 7, 2025: Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday mounted a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that he has stolen votes.
Addressing a massive gathering in Gaya town, Kharge said, “Narendra Modi is saying the RJD has taken the Chief Ministerial post. But the truth is, these are the real thieves—they steal votes.”
Mallikarjun Kharge alleged Narendra Modi betrayed earlier promises:
Kharge said Modi had promised to deposit Rs 15 lakh in every bank account, provide two crore jobs every year, guarantee MSP on crops, build permanent houses for the poor till 2022 and give free gas cylinders to women, but nothing on the ground.
“Narendra Modi only tells lie-after-lie,” he alleged.
Mallikarjun Kharge added that Rahul Gandhi had exposed fraud in voter lists across the states, accusing the Election Commission of being complicit.

“Maharashtra, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, the governments are based on theft, and are running there. They will try to steal votes in Bihar too. We must not allow vote-rigging,” he said.
Kharge further accused the Prime Minister of undermining the Constitution and creating fear, hatred and frenzy in society.
“Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar have done nothing for Bihar in 20 years. People elected Narendra Modi to run the country, not to campaign in municipal elections,” he said.
Mallikarjun Kharge praised Rahul Gandhi for meeting people on the ground, citing his recent meeting with fishermen along with Mukesh Sahani.
Mallikarjun Kharge also addresses a rally in Rohtas:
Earlier, while addressing another rally in Chenari Assembly constituency in Rohtas district, Kharge said, “The misrule and hooliganism of the JDU-BJP government in Bihar are about to end. Young people will no longer have to leave the state for employment.”
He accused the NDA of giving Rs 10,000 to women for votes, claiming women had no place in BJP-RSS ideology.

Kharge said the Grand Alliance had decided to make Tejashwi Yadav Chief Minister to stop migration and revive the state.
He invoked Jawaharlal Nehru’s 1950s message to Bihar, “Vote for those who uphold social justice, dignity of the individual, and freedom of religion and education. You have to do the same this time.”
