87.21% students passed class 12 board examination in Bihar.

Patna, March 23, 2024: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Saturday announced the result of class 12 board with an overall 87.21% students succeeding in the examination.
Stream-wise topper students:
Anand Kishore, the chairman of BSEB, said that Tushar Kumar of Patna achieved 482 out of 500 marks in arts and became the topper.
In the Science stream, Mritunjay Kumar of Siwan obtained 481 out of 500 marks to secure the top position.
Priya Kumari of Sheikhpura obtained 478 marks out of 500 in the commerce stream to rank number 1 in the state.
A total of 3,25,848 students in the science stream have passed in the first division.
Similarly, in Arts, 1,73,823 passed the first division, and 25,157 students passed in the commerce stream in the first division.
The examinations were conducted from February 1 to 12, 2024 and around 13 lakh students appeared for the exams.

BSEB chairman announcement:
The results were jointly announced in Patna by BSEB chairman Anand Kishore and Bihar Education Minister Sunil Kumar.
Anand Kishore congratulated all of them and highlighted the improved performance across streams this year.
