22 leaders of LJPR resigned from the party.

Patna: Chirag Paswan led Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas (LJPR) has taken a big jolt after 22 leaders including former Lok Sabha MP and party national vice president Renu Kushwaha and state organization secretary Engineer Ravindra Singh resigned from the primary membership of the party on Wednesday.

Besides these two, other leaders are Satish Kumar, former MLA and national general secretary,  Ajay Kushwaha, Rajesh Dangi, Dr Sudhir Prasad Yadav, Sanjay Lal, Chitranjan Kumar, Kalesh Kumar Yadav, Dipak Kumar, Abhinav Kumar and 11 others.

Those leaders have leveled serious allegations on the party national president Chirag Paswan and said that he has sold the tickets in this election.

“There is a buzz in Bihar that Chirag Paswan has sold the tickets of Vaishali, Samastipur and Khagaria. Paisa first- Pariwar first is trending on social media. As such an issue was damaging the image of the party. Ravindra Singh had written a letter to Chirag Paswan a couple of days ago and asked him for guidance on this issue but he did not give any reply to us,” Kushwaha said.

“We believe that only those people can survive in LJPR who have money. Hence, we have given the resignation from the primary membership of the party,” Kushwaha said.

“We have built the party with our hard work. We have trusted on the vision of Chirag Paswan. Due to our dedication, LJPR gained 5 seats in this election after the seat sharing formula of NDA. We were shocked to see when Chirag Paswan had given the ticket to Veena Devi to contest the election from Vaishali Lok Sabha seat,” said Ravindra Singh.

“When LJP was broken by Pashupati Kumar Paras on June 12, 2021, Veena Devi had played a big role in it. She had given objectionable statements against Chirag Paswan and Late Ram Vilas Paswan. Chirag Paswan was also saying that he would never give tickets to traitors. Now, he has not only given the ticket to Veena Devi but also justified his decision before the media,” Ravindra Singh said.

Chirag Paswan has given the ticket to Shambhavi Choudhary, daughter of Bihar’s cabinet minister Ashok Choudhary to contest the Lok Sabha election from Samastipur. In the last four years, Ashok Choudhary had made several low grade remarks on Chirag Paswan. Shambhavi is not a member of LJPR but she was given the ticket of the party. Same thing happened in Khagaria as well. He has also given the ticket to his brother-in-law Arun Bharti to contest the Jamui Lok Sabha seat,” Singh said.
