Patna, October 29, 2025: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), accusing the party of having fostered an “identity crisis” in Bihar before 2005 and warning voters against returning it to power.
Addressing a large rally at Raghunathpur in Siwan, Yogi said the “double-engine” NDA government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had erased that crisis and restored respect for Biharis.
“This election is a fight against those who created the identity crisis for the people of Bihar. Today, people from Bihar are going everywhere and receiving respect thanks to the double-engine government,” he said.
Yogi Adityanath alleged that the opposition is encouraging criminals:
Yogi alleged opposition parties were encouraging criminal elements and fielding them as candidates.
Without naming them directly, he appeared to refer to Late Mohammad Shahabuddin and his son Osama Shahab—Osama is contesting from Raghunathpur on the RJD ticket—and urged voters not to allow such leaders to return.

He also drew parallels between the RJD in Bihar and the Samajawadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, charging both with promoting anarchic conditions in their respective states.
Praising his government’s law-and-order actions, Yogi said the “bulldozer” approach in UP had been used to check elements backed by the SP and suggested a similar firm approach was needed in Bihar.
Yogi Adityanath says the Ram-Janki corridor will be built to connect Ayodhya and Sitamarhi:
On cultural issues, Yogi Adityanath highlighted the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya as an NDA achievement and announced plans for a Ram-Janki corridor linking Ayodhya with Sitamarhi, saying a grand temple for Goddess Sita was in the works.
“Ram Lalla was staying in a hut for more than 550 years; the NDA completed the grand Ram temple. Now a grand temple of Goddess Sita is being built in Sitamarhi,” he said.

Urging voters to support NDA nominees Vikas Kumar Singh (Raghunathpur) and Vishnudev Paswan (Barauli), Yogi invoked Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s pledge to eliminate Naxalism and Maoist influence by 2026.
“We do not need CPI-ML; we need LJPRV. We want a crime-free Bihar where businesses grow and mothers and sisters live without fear,” he added.
