Patna April 28: While the Lok Sabha election campaign was at its peak in Bihar, many candidates were facing awkward situations due to the anger of the voters.
One such incident appeared at Godiyari village under Hanuman Nagar block in Bihar’s Darbhanga district where some villagers showed black flags to BJP sitting MP and candidate Gopal Ji Thakur during the Lok Sabha election campaign.
A video of the incident went viral on social media where he was traveling as a pillion rider on a bike and villagers were showing black flags. They have also chanted the slogans of Gopal Ji Thakur go back. The Suncity News is not authenticating this video circulated on social media on Sunday.
As per the video, neither Gopal Ji Thakur nor the bike rider were wearing the helmets. It is also a violation of traffic law. Due to strong protests, Gopal Ji Thakur passed them without stopping in the village. The villagers were angry with him as he did not come to their village in the last 5 years.
Gopal Ji Thakur is contesting against Lalit Yadav of RJD in the Darbhanga Lok Sabha constituency. The voting will take place here in the fourth phase on May 13.
