Patna, October 1, 2025: Bihar Water Resource Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary on Wednesday claimed that the minority community in Bihar has a strong inclination towards the NDA and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Interacting with the media persons in Patna, Choudhary said, “Due to the extensive work Nitish Kumar has carried out for the minority community in Bihar over the last 20 years, they are impressed and admire his efforts.
Vijay Kumar Choudhary will create awareness among people about the government measures:
Vijay Kumar Choudhary added that a meeting of the JDU’s minority cell was held at the party office in Patna on Wednesday, after which the party will launch an election campaign across the state to highlight Nitish Kumar’s initiatives for the welfare of minorities.
“If there is any doubt in people’s minds, we will clarify it. Our leader Nitish Kumar has a special focus on minority welfare,” Choudhary said.

Vijay Kumar Choudhary pointed to initiatives such as the fencing of graveyards, salary hikes for Madarsa teachers, the establishment of residential schools and hostels for minority students, and improvements in healthcare and education systems in minority-dominant areas.
“The work done under Nitish Kumar’s leadership in the NDA government is exemplary. Such large-scale initiatives for the minority community have not been undertaken in any other state. Awareness is growing among minorities, and no one can mislead them now,” he remarked.
Minorities play a decisive role in Seemanchal:
With the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections crucial for the JDU, the party is making renewed efforts to reach out to minority voters, who play a decisive role, particularly in the Seemanchal region.
