Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve attacks record crowds New Year 2025.

Patna January 1, 2025: The Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve (VTR) and surrounding areas, including Manguraha and Gobardhana, are experiencing an unprecedented tourist influx as over one lakh visitors are expected to celebrate the New Year.
Early arrivals have already begun enjoying picnics, setting up tents, and exploring the scenic beauty of the reserve. Local hotels, restaurants, and even private homes have been completely occupied to accommodate the swelling numbers.
Last year, approximately 75,000 tourists visited Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve during this time, but the current numbers indicated a significant increase, reflecting the growing popularity of this natural haven.
Enhanced Security and Management Measures in Valmiki Nagar Tiger Reserve:
In anticipation of the crowd, the VTR administration has made extensive security arrangements.
Personnel from the Sashtra Seema Bal (SSB), district police, and forest department are actively managing the situation. Continuous reports are being received from forest officials, and vigilant monitoring is being conducted to prevent any suspicious activities at the tourist spots.
The administration’s preparations extend beyond Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve to other popular picnic destinations in the district, including Paniyhava on the banks of the Gandak River, Dhanha-Ratwal Bridge, Nautan-Bairia, Amwaman in Majhaulia block, Pandai River Bank in Bhikhna Thori, Udaipur Forest in Bairia block and Nandangarh in Lauriya block.
Security forces have been deployed at all these locations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.
