Upendra Kushwaha shown anger on JD-U leaders for breaking his party’s state president Ramesh Kushwaha.

Patna: Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) national president Upendra Kushwaha has shown anger on JD-U leaders for breaking his party state president Ramesh Kushwaha on Saturday.

“I want to request JD-U leaders to please inform me if you want some more candidates,” Upendra Kushwaha said while uploading a post on his social media account X on Saturday evening.

He also uploaded a poem of Harivansh Rai Bachchan “Jo Beet Gayi So Baat Gayi” for those who went angry after Ramesh Kushwaha joined JD-U. He asked them to remember the lines of Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

RLM state Ramesh Kushwaha and his wife Vijayalaxmi have joined JD-U in Patna on Saturday. Ramesh Kushwaha earlier resigned from RLM this week.

RLM headed by Upendra Kushwaha is a part of NDA in Bihar. Ramesh Kushwaha was the JD-U MLA from Ziradei assembly constituency in Siwan district from 2015 to 2020. He went with Upendra Kushwaha in 2020.

Umesh Kushwaha, the state president of JD-U was given the membership certificates to Ramesh Kushwaha and his wife Vijaylaxmi in presence of cabinet minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Jha, cabinet minister Ashok Choudhary and other leaders.

Sources have said that JD-U may give ticket to Vijayalaxmi to contest the general election 2024 from Siwan. At present, Kavita Singh, the wife of Bahubali leader Ajay Singh is the sitting MP of Siwan. The way Ramesh Kushwaha and his wife Vijayalaxmi joined the JD-U, the party may cut the ticket of Kavita Singh. Her husband Ajay Singh is very close to BJP.

“Ramesh Kushwaha was the MLA of our party from Ziradei. He went to another party but now returned to his old home. It is a Ghar Wapsi for him,” said Umesh Kushwaha, the state president of JD-U.

“We have an aim to win all 40 seats of Bihar and form the government under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi in centre. Ramesh Kushwaha and his wife joined JD-U to strengthen the NDA. We have no intention to weaken our alliance party,” said Vijay Kumar Choudhary, the parliamentary affairs minister of Bihar.
