Patna, October 1, 2025: Bhojpuri Power Star Pawan Singh is all set to rejoin the BJP, Upendra Kushwaha, the Rajya Sabha MP, has said that Singh will play a significant role in strengthening the NDA prospects in Bihar’s Shahabad and Magadh regions.
Upendra Kushwaha, who played a key role in facilitating Singh’s return to the BJP, noted that the two had previously contested against each other in the Lok Sabha elections from Karakat, where both were defeated.
Speaking to journalists, he said, “Actor Pawan Singh joining the NDA will certainly benefit the alliance. In the last Lok Sabha elections, vote division in the Karakat seat led to adverse results. In this Assembly election, we will prevent such division, and the NDA will win everywhere.”
Upendra Kushwaha pointed out the strong strategy of the NDA:
He added that the NDA is formulating a strong strategy for the Assembly elections, and Singh’s return is part of this broader plan.
“I always advocate for the NDA’s rights. Pawan Singh’s return will strengthen the NDA, particularly in Shahabad and Magadh regions, Kushwaha said.
The statement came during Kushwaha’s visit to Veda block in Sasaram to inaugurate a workshop on Wednesday.
Pawan Singh met the NDA leaders in New Delhi on Tuesday:
Pawan Singh had met Upendra Kushwaha the previous day, sparking increased political activity in the state.
After meeting with Upendra Kushwaha, Pawan Singh also met the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and JP Nadda in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Analysts say this move may lead to the consolidation of Kushwaha and Rajput voters in the upcoming Assembly elections.
