Patna July 17: Unruly incidents keep appearing in the procession of Muharram in several districts of Bihar these days.
The people involved in the Muharram procession do not hesitate to attack police personnel as well as civilians in Bihar.
The latest appeared in the Sipahpur locality under Ahiyapur police station in Muzaffarpur when a group of people attacked police personnel.
The clash was triggered after police personnel stopped them from playing DJ during the Muharram procession. Some people, who were part of the procession, pelted stones on the police team. Some cops were injured in this attack.
According to a statement released from the office of SSP Muzaffarpur, playing DJ during the Muharram procession was banned. No one has been given the license to play DJ during the Muharram procession.
Still, they were playing DJ in a pick-up van. When a team of Ahiyapur police went there and stopped the DJ, unruly men attacked them.

Another unruly incident appeared in Patna on Tuesday night when a grocery shop owner was was attacked by some men during the Muharram procession.
The incident occurred at Madarsa Gali in Raja Bazar locality. The owner of the grocery shop named Ashutosh Kumar claimed his one refrigerator was damaged in that incident. The incident was caught on the CCTV cameras.
The shop owner claimed that some unruly elements who were part of the Muharram procession, attacked his shop at 9.20 pm.
These are not the only incidents that happened during the Muharram procession this year. Earlier on Monday, a family was attacked during the Muharram procession in the Dalsinghsarai subdivision of the Samastipur district. Besides, the flags of Palestine were also waved in Nawada and Darbhanga as well.
Given this, the Patna district administration has banned the traffic movement on the Ashok Rajpath ahead of the scheduled Muharrum march on Wednesday. The commuters have to take alternate routes to reach Patna City from 4 pm. The district police also did the flag march in the Patna City area on Tuesday night to maintain peace.
