Two members CBI team reached the EOU office to collect the NEET probe reports
Patna June 24: After CBI filed an FIR in the NEET question paper leak case, two members team of the country’s premier investigating agency reached the Economic Offence Unit (EOU) of Bihar police in Patna on Monday.
The officials reach in a white color Innova car to meet the EOU officials and will take over the investigation reports from them.
Earlier, two teams of CBI reached Patna on Sunday night and contacted the EOU officials related to the NEET question paper leak case.
After collecting the reports, they will study the facts and start the investigation.
The NEET question paper leak case was first cracked by Patna police on May 5, the day of the examination and an FIR was registered in this case in City’s Shastri Nagar police station. The case was later transferred to EOU of Bihar police for its investigation.
EOU, the investigation agency of Bihar police, has arrested 19 persons in connection with the NEET question paper leak case so far. 13 accused including 6 exam mafias, 4 candidates and 3 parents were arrested by Patna police on the day of the examination on May 5 and EOU arrested 6 other exam mafias from Deoghar in Jharkhand on Sunday evening.
EOU has taken the statements of the arrested accused. It has also enclosed proofs like partially burnt question papers, Aadhar Cards, booking details of NHAI guest house and Learn Play School, booklet number of question papers and others in the investigation report. All reports and evidence will be handed over to the CBI.
