The INDIA bloc will announce the seat sharing formula of Bihar on Friday.

Patna: Leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav will announce the seat sharing formula of INDIA bloc for Bihar on Friday.

A joint press conference in this regard will be held at RJD headquarter in Patna. Tejashwi Yadav will officially announce the numbers of seats to the respective parties of INDIA bloc and the names of candidates of all 40 Lok Sabha seats of Bihar on Friday.

The RJD and Congress leaders have been negotiating for the seat sharing formula of INDIA bloc for the last three days in New Delhi and the matter is resolved now.

“The leaders of INDIA bloc have called for a joint press conference in RJD headquarter in Patna. Tejashwi Yadav and other leaders of the alliance will share the seat sharing formula on Friday afternoon at 12.15 pm,” said Chitranjan Gagan, a spokesperson of RJD.

Sources have said that RJD is contesting on 26 seats and Congress party was given 9 seats. 5 seats were given to the left parties.
