Patna, September 1, 2025: On the concluding day of the Voter Adhikar Yatra, Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav launched a sharp attack on PM Narendra Modi and CM Nitish Kumar, accusing them of colluding with the poll body to finish democracy.

Addressing a massive gathering, Tejashwi Yadav asked the people to choose between the original CM and a duplicate CM.

He said, “This is the land of Bihar, the mother of democracy. Two BJP leaders, in collusion with the poll body, want to impose monarchy here. They will set up factories in Gujarat but seek victory in Bihar. Such forces have to be given a befitting reply.”

Tejashwi Yadav said he is not afraid of FIRs:

Drawing parallels with his father Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav asserted, “When Lalu Yadav got LK Advani arrested during the Rath Yatra, they tried to apply pressure on him, but he did now bow down. Tejashwi Yadav will not bow. Our god (Lord Krishna) was born in jail. We have an eye on every corrupt officer, and once we return to power, action will be taken against all.”

Calling the Prime Minister a factory of lies, Tejashwi Yadav raised slogans of “Desh Ka Bhoot, Modi Ka Jhoot.”

Allies joined the attack:

Hemant Soren, the Jharkhand Chief Minister, said, “The NDA government is misusing ED, CBI and Income Tax to intimidate opposition leaders. I was jailed as part of a conspiracy.”

Dipankar Bhattacharya, the General Secretary of CPI-ML, said, “Just as demonetization broke India’s economy, vote theft is an attempt to destroy our democracy. That is why we have launched the Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar with the slogan Vote Chor—Gaddi Chhod.”
