Patna, April 27, 2024: RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday took a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his rallies in Araria and Munger, claiming that the PM avoided using the BJP’s high-pitched slogan “Abki baar 400 Paar” following the first two phases of Lok Sabha polling.

Posting on social media platform X, Tejashwi Yadav said: “After the assessment of two phases of Lok Sabha polling, PM Narendra Modi has closed the slogan of ‘Abki Baar…Paar.’ Dekh rahe ho na Vinod?”

Tejashwi Yadav criticized PM Modi:

During his two back-to-back rallies on Friday, Modi focused on attacking the opposition and highlighting the NDA’s governance record, but did not raise the NDA’s target of winning 400-plus seats, a catchphrase that had been central to the BJP’s campaign.

Lower voters’ turnout:

Tejashwi linked the shift to low voter turnout in Bihar. The poll body reported that voter turnout in the second phase stood at 58.58%, down from 62.92% in 2019.

The first phase, held on April 19, also witnessed a lower turnout compared to the previous election.

Polling for Bihar’s five constituencies in the second phase was held on April 26, with the INDIA bloc hoping to capitalize on what it calls “waning enthusiasm” for the INDIA.
