Patna, April 15, 2024: Leader of opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav on Monday hit out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saying his government was infamous for paper leaks across the country.

Yadav’s remarks came in response to Adityanath’s rally in Nawada, where the UP Chief Minister alleged that whenever the RJD came to power in Bihar, it worked only through firearms (“tamancha”).

Tejashwi Yadav criticized Yogi Adityanath:

“RJD was in power for 17 months in Bihar—people know what they saw in that period. Yogi Adityanath came here to say something, but the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh is not hidden from anyone. He is the first chief minister who got all the cases registered against him withdrawn,” Yadav said.

Taking a dig at Adityanath, the RJD leader added, “Everyone knows what kind of chief minister he is. These BJP leaders have nothing to do with governance. We have provided jobs to the people of Uttar Pradesh, and they are working here in Bihar. What have you done? The UP government is only known for paper leaks.”

Tejashwi Yadav defended his sister Rohini:

Responding to BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy, who had recently said that Rohini Acharya was merely a “mask” of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav defended his sister.

“Rohini Acharya has served her father and mother with dedication. She even donated a kidney to save her father’s life. The way she has served her parents, she will also serve the people of Saran with the same spirit,” Yadav said.
