Patna, March 26, 2024: Former Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday asserted that the seat-sharing arrangement in the INDIA bloc for Bihar has been finalized and will be made public shortly.
“RJD and Congress share an old alliance and have a strong understanding. The seat-sharing formula of the INDIA bloc has been finalized, and it will be announced in one or two days in Patna,” Yadav told reporters in New Delhi.
Rejecting speculation about rifts within the alliance, the RJD leader said the bloc remains intact.
Tejashwi Yadav said the BJP is spreading rumors:
“The BJP is spreading rumors that the INDIA bloc will break in Bihar. This is not true. RJD, Congress and the Left parties will contest together. Bihar, being in the northern belt, will deliver a surprising result in the general election,” he added.
