Patna, April 27, 2024: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday claimed that leaders of the ruling NDA have gone into “depression” following the completion of the first two phases of Lok Sabha polling in Bihar.

Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rallies held on Friday in Araria and Munger, Tejashwi said the PM avoided both his government’s 10-year achievements and any roadmap for Bihar’s future.

“PM Modi has not discussed issues in his rallies. He neither highlighted the achievements of the last ten years nor presented a vision for the next five,” Tejashwi remarked.

Tejashwi Yadav mocked the BJP pre-poll slogan:

He also mocked the BJP’s pre-poll slogan of winning 400 seats, saying it was conspicuously absent from Modi’s Bihar speeches.

“The BJP’s film was a super flop in the first phase and did not even release on the silver screen in the second. That is why BJP leaders are depressed after the second phase of polling,” he said.

Tejashwi Yadav confident of winning Lok Sabha polls:

The second phase of voting took place on April 26 in Kishanganj, Purnea, Katihar, Bhagalpur, and Banka constituencies, coinciding with the PM’s rallies in Araria and Munger.

Tejashwi expressed confidence that the INDIA bloc would form the next government at the Centre.
