
Patna April 17: On the last day of election campaign for the first phase, Tejashwi Yadav, the RJD leader claimed BJP leaders hijacked CM Nitish Kumar and asked him to stay inside the house.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Gaya and Purnea on Tuesday (April 16) but CM Nitish Kumar was not there. BJP leaders are afraid that Nitish Kumar might say something. Hence, they have asked him to stay at home,” Tejashwi Yadav said while addressing a massive rally in Bihar’s Aurangabad district on Wednesday.
“At present, an election campaign is underway in Bihar and a chief minister of state is staying at home. BJP leaders asked him to stay at home. They have hijacked him. Why Nitish Kumar is staying at home,” Yadav said.
The first phase of voting for Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada and Jamui Lok Sabha constituencies will take place on April 19 and the campaign will end at 5 pm on Wednesday.
