Patna, November 8, 2025: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Mahagathbandhan’s chief ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday held a joint rally for the first time covering all five assembly constituencies of Nawada district.
Addressing the public meeting at the ITI ground, he sought support for Mahagathbandhan candidates and sharpened his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that “30 helicopters have been deployed to track me.” He added that Bihar will not lag behind and asserted that Bihar’s helicopter will always fly ahead.
Tejashwi Yadav claimed Biharis will not allow outsiders to dominate here:
Yadav alleged that ‘’outsiders” were trying to dominate Bihar, but “Biharis will not bow down”.
Making key poll promises, Tejashwi said that if the Mahagathbandhan forms government, one government job will be ensured in every household, electricity for irrigation will be made free, and the Pasi community will be exempted from the prohibition law. He further said his aim was to transform Bihar to a level where youth would not have to migrate outside the state for employment.

The RJD leader sought votes for Kaushal Yadav in Nawada, Anita Devi in Warshaliganj, Congress candidate Neetu Singh in Hisua, Pinky Bharti in Rajauli, and Purnima Yadav in Govindpur. Witnessing a large crowd, he urged voters to quietly cast their votes for the “Lantern” symbol.
Ikra Hasan joined Tejashwi Yadav in Gaya Ji for the joint campaign:
Meanwhile, in Gaya’s Belaganj constituency, Samajwadi Party MP Ikra Hasan campaigned for Mahagathbandhan-backed RJD candidate Dr Vishwanath. Hasan said a “wave of change” is visible in Bihar, and the public is “tired of false promises.”

She described Dr Vishwanath as educated and honest, capable of taking people’s issues to the assembly. Tejashwi Yadav, who was also present at the Belaganj event, said the people of the constituency have always stood for justice and development.
