Patna March 12, 2025: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has launched a scathing attack on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, demanding his resignation over his alleged behavior against women in the Bihar Legislative Council.
He questioned Nitish Kumar’s mental state and stated, “We feel pity for CM Nitish. His repeated speeches and actions in the House show he is not normal. He should resign on his own.”
Tejashwi Yadav accused Nitish Kumar of insulting women:
“Nitish Kumar always points at women in the house. A few months ago, he even pointed at a women leader from his own party,” Yadav said.
“Even when I sit in the house, he makes gestures in various ways. We are getting the video out,” He said.
Rabri Devi & opposition leaders walk out: Former CM Rabri Devi, along with other opposition leaders, staged a walkout and protest against Nitish Kumar.
After the opposition’s dharna, Tejashwi Yadav joined them outside the Legislative Council.
Tejashwi Yadav attacks CM Nitish Kumar, says he should ‘Open an Ashram’:
The leader of the opposition has sharpened his attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, questioning his mental fitness to govern the state.
“Nitish Kumar is no longer mentally fit to run the government. He should resign, open an ashram, and take rest.”
Tejashwi Yadav also mocked Nitish Kumar’s political claims that he had removed Tejashwi Yadav from the post of Deputy Chief Minister.
“Nitish Kumar always claims he removed people from power, but the truth is he resigned himself.”
He defended his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, saying, “Nitish Kumar keeps targeting my father, but he was an MP and MLA long before Nitish even entered politics. In fact, I made Nitish Kumar the CM twice.”
On the Holi vs. Ramzan controversy, Tejashwi Yadav urged unity, saying:
“Everyone should celebrate festivals together, and no one should have a problem with it.”
With Bihar’s 2025 Assembly Elections approaching, this political storm is expected to further escalate tensions between RJD and JDU-BJP alliance.
