Patna, June 13, 2024: Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday alleged that members of the community are being “targeted and shot” under the present NDA government in Bihar.
Referring to the recent incident in Chhapra, Yadav said, “The people of the Yadav caste are being targeted and shot in this government.”
Tejashwi Yadav accused the Nitish Kumar government of lawlessness:
He accused the state government of allowing lawlessness to flourish.
“The morale of criminals has reached the sky in the NDA government. Every day, incidents of crime are being reported. Criminals are fearlessly challenging the police,” he said.
Tejashwi further alleged that the state’s law and order situation has deteriorated sharply.
“Murders, thefts, robberies, loot, rape and firing are happening continuously across Bihar. The police have completely failed. Neither the government nor the officials are concerned,” he said.
Tejashwi Yadav demanded that the government review the law and order situation of Bihar:
He demanded that the government immediately convene a meeting with senior officials to review the law and order situation.
“The Yadav’s are being shot continuously under Nitish Kumar’s rule. Law and order in Bihar has gone from bad to worse. The NDA government has failed on this front,” Yadav added.
