Patna, October 31, 2025: Immediately after the NDA released its joint manifesto for the Bihar polls 2025, Tejashwi Yadav, the Chief Ministerial face of the Grand Alliance, launched a sharp attack, terming it a manifesto of lies.
Yadav alleged that more than half of the promises made in the NDA’s manifesto were directly copied from his own “Tejashwi’s Pledge.”
Tejashwi Yadav mocked the NDA for releasing the manifesto in 30 seconds:
He mocked the ruling alliance, saying that for the first time in history, a coalition’s manifesto was released in just 30 seconds, which, according to him, reflected their “casual attitude” towards the people of Bihar.
Continuing his criticism, Tejashwi Yadav said the NDA should have brought a letter of apology instead of a manifesto for the state’s 14 crore people.

He described the document as a report card of lies, deceit, and unfulfilled promises made over the past two decades of NDA rule.
Sarcastically commenting on the repetitive nature of their promises, Tejashwi Yadav said, “Every year, they come out with a new manifesto, and the old unfulfilled promises ask, brother, what happened to us?”
The RJD leader also targeted specific points in the NDA’s manifesto.
On the promise to provide nutritious food under the mid-day meal scheme, he questioned whether it meant that nutritious food was not provided earlier.’
Tejashwi Yadav claimed the NDA has released the KG class manifesto:
Calling the manifesto a junior KG-level manifesto brought after 20 years of exploitation, he said it exposed the NDA’s failure to meet even basic needs.
Tejashwi Yadav also hit out at the NDA’s promises regarding the education sector, particularly the plan to rejuvenate schools.

“Does this mean that even this much has not been done in the last 20 years?” he asked, calling it a reflection of the NDA’s failure in governance. Concluding his statement, Tejashwi Yadav demanded that the NDA publicly apologize to the people of Bihar, saying, “The manifesto was hollow, ridiculous, and a document of unfulfilled promises.”
