Patna April 22: After Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s ‘too many children’ comment, Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of opposition in Bihar assembly brought the list of 14 people having higher numbers of siblings or children.
He also brought the data of PM Narendra Modi and CM Nitish Kumar as well.
PM Narendra Modi has 6 brothers and sisters while CM Nitish Kumar has 5. Former union minister Ravishankar Prasad has 7 brothers and sisters.
“Nitish Kumar is a respected person to me. He cannot say anything about it. Some people surrounding him are asking him to say something like this,” Tejashwi Yadav said.
Tejashwi Yadav said that Baba Saheb Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar had 14 brothers and sisters and he was the youngest of them.
The greatest freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose also has 14 brothers and sisters.
Former president of India and Bharat Ratna award winner VV Giri has 14 children. Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee had 7 brothers and sisters.
Damodar Das Modi, the father of PM Narendra Modi has 7 brothers and sisters. The uncle of PM Narendra Modi named Narsingh Das was having 8 children.
