Patna, April 7, 2024: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Bihar’s Nawada district on Sunday, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Modi, demanding accountability for the promises made during the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

In a post on social media platform X, Yadav wrote, “PM Narendra Modi is coming to Bihar’s Nawada district on Sunday. He should reveal the promises he made to the countrymen in 2014 and 2019. He had promised 2 crore jobs per year and special status for Bihar. Why has he forgotten those promises?”

Tejashwi Yadav asked a series of questions:

Tejashwi Yadav also posted a series of questions aimed at the Prime Minister, asking about the government’s integrity and economic policies.

He asked how so-called corrupt politicians become clean after taking a bath in the lotus brand shop, referring to leaders joining the BJP after being investigated for corruption.

Tejashwi Yadav asked a question on corporate funding:

The RJD leader also raised questions about corporate funding and probe agencies, alleging that big companies donated money to the ruling party after facing raids.

“PM Modi should explain why those who were working honestly, providing jobs to youths, and following democratic principles are being targeted,” he said.

Yadav further questioned the Prime Minister on the issue of black money and the outcomes of demonetization, asking what happened to the unaccounted wealth the government had promised to bring back.

Yadav’s remarks came just hours before PM Modi’s address in Nawada.
