Patna, July 20, 2025: Amid ongoing tensions within the RJD, Tej Pratap Yadav, elder son of party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, launched a new social media page named “Team Tej Pratap Yadav” on X and Facebook on Sunday, fueling speculation about his next political move.

The page features the slogan, “Jiska Kaayam hai Pratap, who hai aapka apna Tej Pratap.”

He has also shared a picture of his parents. Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi, while appealing to their supporters to follow the page.

Following his six-year expulsion from the RJD by Lalu Prasad Yadav, discussions have intensified that he may soon form a new political party.

While he has not made any formal announcement, sources close to him indicate that a new party could be declared shortly.

The RJD recently issued a formal letter expelling him; however, the Legislative Assembly has not yet been officially notified.

This means he may continue to sit in his old seat next to the leader Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, during the upcoming monsoon session.
