Patna July 23: Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, the national spokesperson of BJP claimed the central government has opened its treasury in the union budget 2024-25 for Bihar.
Syed Shahnawaz Hussain appreciated the Purvodaya scheme: He said that the union budget of the Narendra Modi Government 3.0 is a budget that will improve the fate of Bihar. This state was the most special in the budget 2024-25.
“By including Bihar in the Purvodaya scheme, a provision of 26000 crores has been made in the budget 2024-25 for the construction of expressways and a bridge in the state. At the same time, about 22000 crores have been allocated for power projects including the dream power project of Pirpainti in Bhagalpur. Airports have also been announced in Bihar, in which Bhagalpur airport will definitely get a chance. The construction of a road between Buxar and Bhagalpur will add to the development of the area. Many announcements made in the budget for flood control including Kosi-Michi Inter-State Link, Barrage, are less to be praised, irrigation and promotions of tourism in Bihar,” Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said.

He further said that land was already acquired for the power project in Pirpainti but the previous UPA government had put it on hold. Now with the budget provision for the power project in Pirpainti, this area will also develop like Kahalgaon.
Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said that the state government has already announced airports in Rajgir and Bhagalpur. Now with the announcement of airports in Bihar in the Union Budget, the construction of many airports in the state including Bhagalpur has been decided.
“The Purvodaya Yojana will ensure all-round development of Jharkhand, West Bengal and other states including Bihar. Bihar resides in the heart of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and now Bihar will emerge as the pride of the Northeast under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said Bihar is a priority of centre: “Industry and entrepreneurship in Bihar is the priority of the NDA government at the Centre and the state. With the headquarters of the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor being built in Gaya, the industrial environment in the entire Bihar will improve and a large number of Bihari youths and businessmen will be benefitted. To promote the tourism industry in Bihar, the religious places of Bodh Gaya, Gaya, Rajgir and Nalanda will be developed. Overall, the Modi 3.0 government has given a lot of gifts to Bihar, for which all Biharis are grateful,” Hussain said.
“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is moving rapidly towards fulfilling the resolution of developed India. Budget 2024-25 will play a big role in fulfilling the resolution of developed India. He said that in the budget, every section of the country’s villages, poor, farmers, youth and women has been taken care of. Nirmala Sitharaman has made provisions in the budget to empower everyone from employment and self-employment to youths, poor, farmers, women,” Hussain said.
Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said that education, skill, industry and entrepreneurship sectors have been given importance in the budget, which will lead to a boom in employment in the country and when the country becomes a 5 trillion economy, there will be immense possibilities for every section.
He said that PM Narendra Modi has taken care of the rapidly emerging middle class in the country. Along with giving big tax relief to the middle class, schemes to help in employment, self-employment, industry, entrepreneurship and other areas have been announced in the budget.
Opposition is disappointed with the union budget: While the NDA leaders of Bihar appreciate the union budget, Bhai Virendra, the four-times MLA of RJD from Maner assembly constituency said that this budget is only for corporate. There is nothing for poor people, farmers, youths and women.
