Sudama Prasad alleged CM security commandos mistreated him.

Patna, September 5: Sudama Prasad, the CPI-ML MP of Arrah Lok Sabha alleged that he was mistreated by the security officers of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar during an event in his constituency on Thursday morning.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar arrived at the Bakhorapur Panchayat under the jurisdiction of Barahra block in the district for the inauguration of a Panchayat building and a hospital. During the event, Sudama Prasad and local public representatives were also invited by the state government. The incident occurred around 11.30 am on Thursday.

“I went to Bakhorapur Panchayat following the invitation of the state government. When I reached there and attempted to greet the Chief Minister with the flowers, commandos pushed me aside despite I had given my identity. They did the similar treatment with other MLAs too,” Prasad said.

Sudama Prasad expressed disappointment and frustration over the way he and other elected representatives were treated by the security personnel.

“In the Nitish Kumar government, the MPs, MLAs and other elected representatives have no importance. Only Nitish Kumar and his officers have importance in the current government. I am a MP of Arrah and Bakhorapur is a part of my constituency. I have the right to attend all events in the constituency but this government has prevented us. It is an extremely unfortunate incident,” Prasad said.

“I am extremely disappointed with the behaviors of the people who are surrounded the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. If he does not care about MPs, MLAs and public representatives then what is the need to come in the district? He could have simply inaugurated the event remotely from his residence,” Prasad said.
