Shambhavi Choudhary criticized Lalu Prasad Yadav over his remark on BJP ahead of the 2025 poll.

Patna February 14, 2025: LJPRV MP Shambhavi Choudhary has strongly criticized RJD national president Lalu Prasad Yadav for his remark about the BJP’s chances in Bihar.

While speaking to the media on Thursday, Lalu Prasad Yadav claimed that as long as he remained politically active in Bihar, the BJP would not come to power in the state.

Shambhavi Choudhary’s Response:

Reacting to his statement, Choudhary dismissed his claims as unrealized and baseless, stating; “Lalu Prasad Yadav speaks in a way that no one can understand. He claims that BJP cannot come to power as long as he is in Bihar. But the reality is different. He was in Bihar during the recent by-polls in four assembly constituencies— Tarari, Ramgarh, Belaganj, and Imamganj where we won all four seats despite his presence and campaigning in Belaganj.”

She further pointed out that the BJP-led NDA had already secured a strong mandate in Bihar, stating: “In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, BJP and its allies won 30 out of 40 seats. In the 2020 Bihar assembly elections, NDA secured a victory despite Lalu Prasad Yadav’s active presence.”

The NDA is confident of winning the 2025 Assembly elections with an even bigger margin.

Caste politics won’t work anymore in Bihar:

Shambhavi Choudhary, the Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas (LJPRV), also took a dig at RJD’s political strategy, stating: “The era of caste-based politics is over in Bihar. Today, people vote for development, and development is with the NDA.”

Her remarks highlight the NDA’s growing confidence in retaining power in Bihar, dismissing Lalu Prasad Yadav’s political influence as ineffective.

With the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections approaching, the political battle in the state is heating up.
