Patna, August 16, 2025: RJD Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Yadav launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, accusing them of misleading the people of Bihar.
Sanjay Yadav alleged that PM Modi first imposed demonetization (Note Bandi), then nationwide lockdown (Desh Bandi), and now moving towards what he termed as a vote ban (Vote Bandi).
He said, “The Prime Minister only keeps saying Muslim…Muslim and Pakistan…Pakistan. He is trying to divert attention from real issues like unemployment and migration.”
Sanjay Yadav criticized PM Modi for not talking about real issues:
Criticizing the Independence Day address of PM Modi, Yadav said, The PM’s speech showed a lack of confidence. He did not say anything about unemployment, migration or industries. He only kept praising the RSS.”
Taking a dig at CM Nitish Kumar’s claim of providing 50 lakh jobs, Yadav said, “If Nitish Kumar has given jobs to 50 lakh youths, then he should release the list. Even the Prime Minister could not provide so many jobs, then where did the Chief Minister get this number from? This claim is ridiculous.”
He further mocked Nitish Kumar, saying the CM does not even know who operates his X (Twitter) account.”
The Vote Adhikar Yatra will create awareness:
On the upcoming Vote Adhikar Yatra starting Sunday from Sasaram, Sanjay Yadav said that the INDIA bloc leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, will go among the people to spread awareness about voter rights.
He reminded that the opposition had earlier marched to the Election Commission with 300 MPs, but it had no effect.
He added that the matter is before the Supreme Court, where the opposition has already secured a partial victory.
Sanjay Yadav also questioned why no major industry has been set up in Bihar in the last 11 years, saying the government has no answers.
We only talk about issues, and the government should also talk about real issues instead of distractions,” he asserted.
