Patna, December 29, 2025: Newly appointed Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday.

Following the meeting, Sanjay Saraogi shared the photograph with Prime Minister Modi on his official X handle.

The meeting witnessed a detailed and meaningful discussion on the development of Bihar and the organizational strengthening of the BJP in the state.

During the meeting, Sanjay Saraogi presented Prime Minister Modi with a memento featuring Punoura Dham, the birthplace of Goddess Sita, along with a shawl adorned with traditional Madhubani painting.

The specially crafted memento beautifully depicts images of Lord Shri Rama, Lord Lakshmana, and Goddess Sita, symbolizing Bihar’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

The meeting between PM Narendra Modi and Sanjay Saraogi was primarily based on Makhana farmers:

Sources said that the two leaders held an extensive discussion on Bihar’s development roadmap.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reportedly spoke at length about Makhana (Fox Nut), a unique agricultural product of Bihar.

He discussed the condition of Makhana farmers, employment generation, value addition, and market expansion, reiterating the central government’s commitment to the welfare of Makhana cultivators.

The leaders also exchanged views on the overall development of Mithila and Bihar, with special emphasis on welfare schemes, rural development, and cultural promotion.

Madhubani painting and its potential for global recognition and livelihood generation were also discussed.

Organizational strengthening of the BJP in Bihar:

Prime Minister Modi provided important guidance on strengthening the BJP organization in Bihar, focusing on making it more active, disciplined, and people-centric.

Speaking about the meeting, Sanjay Saraogi said, “During my meeting with Prime Minister Modi, detailed discussions were held on organizational matters. The Prime Minister guided us on how to make the party organization in Bihar stronger, more active, and people-oriented.”

He further said, “This meeting was extremely inspiring and important for the overall development of Bihar, farmer empowerment, and organizational strengthening.”

It is noteworthy that during the Delhi visit, Sanjay Saraogi also met BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, holding discussions on organizational and political matters.
