Patna, May 27, 2024: BJP State President and Deputy Chief Minister CM Samrat Choudhary on Monday launched a blistering attack on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and other opposition figures while campaigning for BJP candidate Shivesh Ram at a rally in Babuganj ground, Tilauthu block in Rohtas.

Accompanied by former Deputy Chief Minister Tar Kishore Prasad, Choudhary criticized Tejashwi for eating fish during Navratri, saying the act had invited divine displeasure.

“He claims to be the son of a poor man, but ate fish in Navratri while sitting in a helicopter. Because of this, he has been cursed by God—now he is roaming in a wheelchair. Does a 34-year-old man travel in a wheelchair? Choudhary asked, drawing jeers and laughter from the crowd.

Samrat Choudhary also targeted Lalu Prasad Yadav:

Referring to an earlier episode, he also took aim at the RJD leadership’s hospitality to Congress leaders, saying Lalu Prasad Yadav invited Rahul Gandhi in the month of Sawan, cooked mutton and served him. I want to ask people: do we eat non-vegetarian food in the sacred month of Sawan?”

Choudhary broadened his attack to law-and-order and governance issues, saying the double-engine government would not tolerate criminal elements.

“For the next one and a half years, there is a double-engine government in Bihar, so sand, land and liquor traders should either leave Bihar or be ready to face the consequences,” he warned.

Samrat Choudhary praises PM Modi over his national security stance:

He also took a swipe at veteran Congress leaders while praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national security stance, asserting that India now responds firmly to cross-border attacks.

The BJP rally underscores the party’s campaign line—combining cultural-social jibes directed at the opposition with promises of tough action against crime and renewed emphasis on development and security.
