RJD promised to give 1 crore government jobs in its manifesto.

Patna: RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav issued the election manifesto (Parivartha Patra) of the party on Saturday.

He has promised 1 crore government jobs if the INDIA bloc comes into power in the centre.

“At present, 30 lakh posts in the government sector are vacant. We will not only fill those posts but also create 70 lakh jobs as well. The recruitment of 30 lakh posts will start from August 15, 2024 in the country,” Yadav said.

Tejashwi Yadav has given the name of the party’s manifesto “24 Jan Vachan”.

“It is our commitment to fulfill all those points mentioned in the manifesto and bring prosperity and progress in Bihar and in the country,” he said.

“During the 2020 assembly election, we promised 10 lakh government jobs. As we had 4 to 5 less seats, we failed to form the government. When we came into the government for 17 months, we were given 5 lakh government jobs. Such a large number of recruitments were not done by any state government in the country. Besides, we have also conducted a caste based survey in Bihar,” he said.

“BJP is our political opponent. Its leaders cannot discuss anything on jobs. They had promised to give 2 crore jobs per year but not fulfilled till now. We are genuine people. Whatever we have promised in the past, we fulfilled it. We have promised 1 crore government jobs in the country and we will fulfill it after the formation of our government in the centre,” Yadav said.

Tejashwi Yadav also said his government will give Rs 1 lakh to the women of poor families per year. This year, we will start this programme on Raksha Bandhan.
