RJD MP Sudhakar Singh raised doubts about the clarification of Nitish Kumar to stay in NDA.
Patna November 16, 2024: After Nitish Kumar’s reiteration of his commitment to the NDA alliance during the Prime Minister’s rally in Jamui, RJD MP Sudhakar Singh reacted sharply to him.
“When no one is asking questions, then why is Nitish Kumar giving clarifications? He quipped saying there is definitely something fishy,” Singh said.
RJD MP Sudhakar Singh implies that Nitish Kumar’s proactive clarification, without any visible provocation or public questioning, raises questions about the stability or sincerity of his alliance with the NDA.
The statements and developments in Jamui during the Birsa Munda Jayanti celebrations and the ongoing political exchanges highlight the deep-rooted political tensions in Bihar, particularly between the NDA and the Grand Alliance led by the RJD.
Nitish Kumar’s emphatically made a declaration of loyalty to the NDA, with a reflective acknowledgment of past “two mistakes,” underlines his intent to project stability and reliability in his alliance with the BJP.
RJD MP Sudhakar Singh alleged NDA government misused the government machinery:
Sudhakar Singh has shared his views on the ongoing by0election for four assembly seats in Bihar, which took place on November 13, with vote counting scheduled for November 23.
He accused the ruling party of misusing government machinery in the election process. Singh framed the contest as a battle between the “money power” of the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) and the “people power” of the Grand Alliance, asserting that the latter would secure victories in all four constituencies.
RJD MP Sudhakar Singh claimed his party represents A to Z:
In response to the NDA’s claims that RJD’s “MY equation” (Muslim-Yadav) would break during the by-election, Sudhakar Singh dismissed this assertion, stating that RJD does not focus on the MY equation. RJD represents everyone, from “A to Z.”
RJD MP Sudhakar Singh also criticized the BJP, accusing them of relying on speeches rather than addressing real issues affecting the public. He further accused the BJP of playing divisive politics by seeking votes based on religion and caste.
Regarding the Ramgarh seat, for which a by-election is being held after his resignation, Sudhakar Singh clarified that he did not campaign alone.
“Apart from me, other prominent RJD leaders like Tejashwi Yadav and Mukesh Sahni, along with party workers, actively campaigned in the region. Over 40 ministers and MLAs from the NDA had campaigned for the seat, this would not alter the outcome of the by-election,” Singh said.
