Patna, October 7, 2025: The RJD has raised a strong objection to the recent transfer and posting of several administrative officials in Bihar.

The issue was brought up during a meeting of political parties with Bihar’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Vonod Singh Gunjiyal on Tuesday.

RJD submitted a memorandum:

The RJD delegation submitted a memorandum demanding immediate action, alleging that some officials, posted just 45 days ago and directly involved in the Assembly election process, were transferred under political pressure.

Representatives of the Grand Alliance parties also questioned the number of foreign infiltrators detected in the final Special Intensive Revision (SIR) voter list.

They asked the CEO to clarify whether any infiltrators had been identified or excluded.

The memorandum stated that if no infiltrators have been found, the election body should take strict action against leaders and parties who repeatedly raise this issue in their election speeches.

This issue had come earlier before Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in the two back-to-back press conferences in Patna and New Delhi, respectively, where he clarified that such data lies with Electoral Registration Officers (ERO) and district magistrates.

RJD also demanded that the poll body take action against personal attacks and indecent remarks made during campaigning.

During the meeting, Buxar MP Sudhakar Singh, Aurangabad MP Abhay Kushwaha, party spokesperson Chittranjan Gagan, General Secretary Mukund Singh and other leaders.

Other parties’ leaders also present:

Representatives of Congress, BJP, JDU, CPI-ML, CPM, CPI, RLJP, LJP (Ram Vilas) and BSP were present.

The Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and November 11, with counting on November 14, and the entire election process will conclude on November 16.
