RJD leader asked NDA leaders to release comparative data of crime based on NCRB reports.
Patna June 25: RJD leader Chitranjan Gagan challenged the NDA leaders to release the comparative data of the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) during the tenure of the RJD and NDA tenures.
The statement of Gagan came after Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and JD (U) MLC and Chief Spokesperson Neeraj Kumar sharply reacted on the question raised by the Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on the deteriorating law and order situation in the state on Tuesday.
Tejashwi Yadav pointed out 33 crime incidents that took place in Bihar post-Lok Sabha election. In retaliation, BJP and JD (U) leaders asked Tejashwi Yadav to release the data of Lalu-Rabri government of 15 years from 1990 to 2005.
RJD spokesperson Chitaranjan Gagan said: “If the JDU spokesperson has the courage, then he should release a comparative statement of Bihar’s crime statistics released by NCRB during RJD rule and NDA rule. All the figures are available on the Home Department’s website of the central government.”
“Samrat Chaudhary who is spreading propaganda, should not forget that he himself was a minister in the RJD government,” he said.
“While JD (U) is associated with the BJP, it has become an expert in the art of misleading people through lies and propaganda. Leaders of both BJP and JD (U) are living up to the saying “Chor Bole Jor Se” (Thief speak loudly). JD (U) spokesperson should see the NCRB report before saying anything. NCRB is a central government agency in which JD (U) is also included. The website of the Home Department of Bihar Government is enough to tell that criminal incidents have increased tremendously during the NDA rule as compared to the RJD rule,” Gagan said.
The RJD spokesperson alleged that the character of BJP and JDU leaders are to defame others. Blaming the opposition parties for their every failure is their trick, character and face.
