Patna July 5: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is celebrating its 28th foundation day in Patna on Friday.

An event will be held at the party’s headquarters, with Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav in attendance to provide Guru Mantra to party workers in preparation for the forthcoming Bihar assembly election in 2025.

The celebration will be chaired by the party’s State President, Jagdanand Singh. During the event, Lalu Yadav will address the attendees. Leaders and workers from across the state have arrived in Patna, with those unable to attend being instructed to celebrate in their respective districts.

A significant number of party leaders and workers are expected to gather at the Karpoori Auditorium of RJD’s state office.

The RJD state office has been decorated with colorful lights, and large banners featuring images of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi on one side and Tejashwi Yadav on the other have been displayed at key intersections in Patna, including the party office.

Meanwhile, JD(U) MLC Neeraj Kumar criticized Tejashwi Yadav, questioning his whereabouts. “Tejashwi Yadav is always busy on social media. I want to ask him where he is when his party is celebrating its 28th foundation day. I hope you are safe and healthy wherever you are,” Kumar remarked.
