Ravishankar Prasad claimed Lalu Prasad Yadav’s social justice is just a show off.

Patna, April 9, 2024: Former Union Law Minister and sitting BJP MP Ravishankar Prasad on Tuesday attacked RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, alleging that his idea of social justice is nothing but a façade for promoting dynastic politics.

“The social justice of Lalu Prasad Yadav is just a show-off. Dynastic politics is his real aim,” Prasad told reporters in Patna.

Ravishankar Prasad claimed RJD is a family-based party:

The BJP leader said that RJD has been reduced to a family-run outfit where no other Yadav leader holds significance apart from Lalu’s own kin.

“Is there any value for other Yadav leaders in RJD except his family? In that party, it’s only Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, Misa Bharti, Rohini Acharya—and maybe another family member next,” he remarked.

Ravishankar Prasad said the BJP is a party of grassroots workers:

Drawing a contrast, Prasad said that the BJP rewards grassroots workers, citing the example of Mohan Yadav, a “common worker” who rose to become Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

Challenging the opposition bloc’s leadership, he said, “Will your government be formed in Delhi? Who is your prime ministerial candidate? You have none. Your government will not be formed in Delhi.”

Ravi Shankar Prasad is contesting again from the Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituency, where voting will be held in the seventh phase on June 1.
