Rabri Devi criticized Nitish Kumar and claimed he was insulted women including her 2 times.

Patna March 12, 2025: Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi has made a sensational claim against CM Nitish Kumar, alleging that he insulted women, including her, under the influence of bhang (an intoxicating substance).

Former Bihar CM blamed 5 men behind Nitish Kumar whispering to him in his ear:

Former CM named five close aides who allegedly influenced and misguided the CM including Union Minister Lalan Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Jha, Bihar water resources minister Vijay Chaudhary and Rural Work Department Minister Ashok Chaudhary.

“Nitish Kumar makes abusive remarks towards women, including me. He comes to Bihar assembly and council after consuming bhang and speaks disrespectfully with women,” Rabri Devi said.

“He insults not just us but the women of entire Bihar,” She said.

Rabri Devi vs. Nitish Kumar war of words escalates in Bihar assembly:

Following the sensational allegation, a political storm erupted in the Bihar Legislative Council. She claimed that Nitish Kumar has been insulting women and making derogatory remarks in the past.

She questions inside the Bihar legislative council over his remarks about women not wearing clothes before 2005.

Former CM questioned him; “Did the women in the homes of Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi roam naked before 2005?” She asked.

She accused Nitish Kumar of insulting her personally in the House for the second time.

Rabri Devi slams ruling party’s narrative:

She objected to claims that Bihar saw no progress before 2005.

She sarcastically said: “People of your house did not even wear clothes.”

Following the sharp allegation of Rabri Devi, Nitish Kumar retaliated at her and denied her allegations.

Nitish Kumar said to Rabri Devi: “During your tenure, I was a minister at the Centre. I saw how no work was done in Bihar.”

He highlighted his pro-women policies after 2005 including 50% reservation for women and better education facilities for girls.

Nitish Kumar claimed his government empowered women rather than insulted them.

House in chaos, RJD walked out:

The heated exchange between them led to a massive uproar in the Bihar legislative council.

RJD leaders, including Rabri Devi, staged a walk-in protest.

This fresh battle between Nitish Kumar and Rabri Devi could deepen the rift between JD(U) and RJD, just months before the assembly elections.

Rabri Devi’s remarks have further escalated tensions between the RJD and JD(U). The Nitish Kumar-led government is already facing sharp criticism over law and order issues, and this allegation could add to the political firestorm in Bihar.
