Prashant Kishor welcomes the Anti-Waqf Act rally and attacks Tejashwi Yadav in Siwan.

Patna, June 29, 2025: Jan Suraj chief Prashant Kishor extended support to the rally organized by Muslim organizations against the Waqf Act in Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, stating that Jan Suraj has been opposing this Bill from the very beginning.

Speaking to journalists during his Bihar Badlaav Yatra in Siwan, Prashant Kishor said:

The meeting held today in Gandhi Maidan is a meeting of Muslim organizations, and we wish them all the best.”

Prashant Kishor claimed Muslims have an option beyond lantern now:

Kishor claimed that the Muslim community in Bihar now sees Jan Suraj as an alternative.

“Till now, these people have been taking the votes of the Muslim community by showing the fear of BJP, but now Muslims have the option of Jan Suraj. Muslims have understood that there is no benefit in burning like kerosene oil in a lantern. If they vote for the lantern, the future of their children will burn like kerosene, and the light will shine only in Lalu Yadav’s house.”

Jibe at Tejashwi 20 months remark:

Taking a sharp dig at Tejashwi Yadav’s call for 20 months of governance, Prashant Kishor said: “The people of Bihar have already given 15 years to Tejashwi’s parents and three years to him, and they have ruined Bihar. Now the public is not going to be misled by them. No one is going to vote for RJD.”

Prashant Kishor was on a one-day tour of Siwan and West Champaran on Sunday and held direct interactions with the people in villages and blocks under the Bihar Badlaav Yatra which aims to prepare an alternative model of clean politics in the state ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
