Prashant Kishor targets PM Modi on retirement, says Jan Suraj is the B team of the public.

Patna, July 11, 2025: Prashant Kishor, architect of Jan Suraj, sharpened his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a public meeting at Goh block in Aurangabad during the ongoing Bihar Badlaav Yatra.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Kishor remarked:

“PM Modi is not going to retire from politics even after completing 75 years of age. As long as the public keeps voting for him, he will not go anywhere. But if RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat has said that one should retire from politics after 75, it is now the responsibility of the BJP to listen to him.”

The statement came days after RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s remarks indicating the need for leaders to consider retiring from active politics post-75, a comment that has triggered discussions within political circles.

Prashant Kishor says Jan Suraj will cut votes of NDA and Mahagathbandhan:

Reacting to Jan Suraj being labeled a vote-cutter party, Kishor said: “Jan Suraj is a vote-cutter party, and this time it will clean up votes of both the NDA and Mahagathbandhan by cutting them.”

Prashant Kishor pointed out how RJD leaders earlier branded Jan Suraj’s BJP’s B team, while JDU leaders are now calling it Congress’s team.

Responding sharply, he added: “Jan Suraj is the B team of the public.”

Jan Suraj brings alternative politics in Bihar:

Prashant Kishor emphasized that Jan Suraj aims to build an alternative politics in Bihar rooted in public participation and clean governance, and the movement will continue to reach the grassroots through its padyatra and meetings across districts.
