Prashant Kishor said Nitish Kumar established the Jungle Raj of Officers.
Patna, September 4: Prashant Kishor, the architect of the Jan Suraj Campaign, launched a scathing attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, accusing him of establishing a “Jungle Raj of officers” in the state.
Prashant Kishor criticized Kumar for centralizing power to such an extent that even elected representatives like MPs, MLAs, and prominent state leaders are being ignored by the administration.
“The state governance is effectively controlled by five individuals—Nitish Kumar and four retired officials—who, wield significant influence without any constitutional responsibility or accou8ntability to the people of Bihar,” He said.
Prashant Kishor further attacked by comparing the current state of affairs under Nitish Kumar’s leadership to the Jungle Raj era associated with RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.
“During Lalu Prasad Yadav’s tenure, the criminals used to loot at night, but under Nitish Kumar’s rule, officers are looting in the daytime through their administrative powers,” Kishor said.
He alleged that this “Officer Raj” has led to a significant increase in corruption in Bihar over the past few years, with bureaucrats exploiting their authority unchecked.
