Prashant Kishor criticized the Nitish-BJP government and Tejashwi Yadav over their silence on the Rs 70,000 crore funds.

Patna, July 28, 2025: Jan Suraj architect Prashant Kishor took a sharp dig at both Nitish-BJP government and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav during his Bihar Badlaav Yatra in Makhdumpur, Jehanabad on Monday.
Speaking at a public meeting in the local Gandhi Maidan, Kishor raised serious concerns over alleged misappropriation of Rs 70,000 crore, citing the latest Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report.
“According to the CAG, it is not clear where Rs 70,000 crore meant for the poor public of Bihar was spent—or looted,” Kishor said.
“This NDA government is silent as Rs 17,000 crore was allegedly misused during Tejashwi Yadav’s tenure as Deputy Chief Minister. That’s why he is too quiet. JDU, BJP and RJD are looting together. Everyone is naked in Hamaam,” Kishor said.
Prashant Kishor supported the Supreme Court ruling on the voter list:
Prashant Kishor welcomed the Supreme Court’s directive asking the Election Commission of India to consider the Aadhar Card and Voter ID Card for voter verification in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Bihar.

After the Supreme Court order, nearly 99.99% of people should now be included in the voter list.
If anyone’s name is still missing, we appeal to them to seek help from political parties and social groups,” he said.
Prashant Kishor promised youth employment:
After this Chhath, youths of Jehanabad and other parts of Bihar will no longer migrate for Rs 10,000 jobs. We’ll bring back 50 lakh migrant youth and ensure jobs worth Rs 10 to 12,000 are created within Bihar.

From December 2025, every man and woman above 60 years will receive a monthly pension of Rs 2,000. Until government schools are not improved, the state government will pay the private school fees for all children under 15 years from poor families so that they can receive an English-medium education,” Kishor said.
