Patna, August 5: Prashant Kishor, the chief of Jan Suraj Campaign criticized Rahul Gandhi over the issue of question paper leaks on Monday.

While addressing a gathering of over 20 thousand people in Bapu Sabhagar in Patna, Prashant Kishor pointed out that a significant question paper leak occurred in Rajasthan during the Congress government’s tenure.

He addresses the crowd, saying, “Many of you have asked me the question of why I do not speak on paper leak. I will not speak on paper leak; do you think I am Rahul Gandhi? The leaders like him keep saying that the paper has been leaked, and common people think that he is their leader and he would improve their fate. I am telling you that you are thinking wrong. Just a few months ago, the maximum number of papers were leaked in Rajasthan. Whose government was in power in that state? There was a Congress government in that state,” Kishor said.

Prashant Kishor comment highlighted his criticism of the Congress party’s handling of the issue and suggests that merely raising concerns without taking effective action is insufficient for addressing the problem.

He continued his critique by addressing the current BJP government’s role in the examination system.

“Now, the BJP come to power and it has brought National Testing Agency (NTA). It came to light that the names of all the toppers of the examinations including NEET came from only 4 centers, none of them were in Bihar. So tell me how will we get employment?” Kishor said.

While sharing his own struggle period during student life, he said he also stayed in a lodge for study and preparation for the examinations.

“I spent two years in the lodge of “Patthar Ki Masjid in Chauthi Tola” in Patna and I know how difficult it is to live life as a student. I have also eaten Dal-Roti in the Tiffin service. Be it eating samosa or drinking tea, I have stood in line on the side of the road for this, I know how painful it is,” Kishor said.

Prashant Kishor has already announced to form a political party on October 2 this year, with an intention to contest the Bihar assembly election in 2025. His potential entry into the political arena has raised serious concern for three major political forces in Bihar including RJD, JD (U) and BJP.
