Patna, September 10, 2025: Political strategist turned politician Prashant Kishor intensified his criticism of the ruling establishment during his Bihar Badlaav Yatra on Wednesday.
Addressing a massive Bihar Badlaav Jan Sabha at Bhagwanpur Block office ground in Bachhwara Assembly constituency, Kishor hit out at both Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the BJP, accusing the government of corruption and failure.
Prashant Kishor claimed Begusarai is the land of revolution:
Responding to a question about Bachhwara being the constituency of Bihar’s sports minister, Kishor said, “We know this much that this is the land of revolutionaries. There is no such big movement in the country that did not start from Begusarai.”

He also challenged BJP leaders who have been criticizing him, saying, “If any leader has the guts, let them come here and gather as many people as I have today. Then it will be clear who is the real leader and who is a Facebook leader.”
Prashant Kishor says Nitish Kumar is an honest CM of a corrupt government:
Taking a sharp dig at Nitish Kumar, Prashant Kishor said, “Nitish Kumar is an honest Chief Minister of a corrupt government. Some ministers and officers close to him have bought properties in Australia, England and South Africa while the people of Bihar continue to live in poverty.”
He alleged that these assets were purchased through the wrongful accumulation of money.

Prashant Kishor asserted that if Jan Suraaj comes to power in November, his government would ensure accountability.
“Our government would take strong action against such leaders,” he said.
Prashant Kishor made big promises:
Prashant Kishor made a series of big promises to the people of Begusarai and vowed that this year would mark the last Diwali and Chhath of Bihar’s plight.
Kishor assured the crowd that migration for low-paying jobs would soon end.
“After this Chhath, the youth of Begusarai and the rest of Bihar will not have to leave their homes for Rs 10-12,000 outside. 50 lakh youth across Bihar will be called back and provided employment of Rs 10-12,000 within the state,” he said.

He also promised universal pension support for senior citizens; Every man and woman above 60 years of age will be given a monthly pension of Rs 2,000 under the Jan Suraaj system.
Making perhaps his boldest announcement, Kishor declared, “Until there are improvements in government schools, parents can educate their children below 15 years of age in private schools, and the government will pay their fees. This will ensure that even a poor child can study in an English-medium school.”
